WARNING!!! This fiction will contain explicit sexual and voilent content! (Mostly nudity and people's heads becoming bloody piles of meat) Ancient japan, two-thousand-three-hundred years ago. The great Yamatai reign over central japan suffering under the constant attacks by the 'demons' of the north, the bloodfirsty emishi, and the powerful clans of the south. Kamis (Gods) and spirits wander across the lands and involve themselves into the bloody struggle of the mortals turning the land into a ravaged battlefield.  In this world of gods and evil spirits the struggle over power in ancient japan forced the young girl Hina to become the servant of a wandering Kami called Shi. One day this odd Kami just suddenly appeared in Hina's village and swiftly suppressed the local goddess to take her place as the guardian god of the area. Now he is gathering power to expand his own little kingdom and to herrass his older sister, the guardian goddess of Yamatai: Amaterasu, the sungoddess herself.   The novels setting is Japan's earliest written history (well it was written down by the chinese, but i guess it still counts...), to be more precise the Yamatai kingdom that reigned a large part of Japan during the 3rd century b.c. and is considered to be the first large kingdom of japan. This said as the synopsis already shows I will be using a lot of mythological content in the story, mostly borrowing it from Japanese and Chinese folklore. I will try to keep it as authentic as possible, but at times I will have to take creative liberty with some of this fantastic creatures.
