Andreas and Axel have known each other for more than a decade. They love each other dearly, and are what you would call best friends. The two young men, trained as soldiers, make the decision to move and take up their lives in another kingdom upon Andreas' worry about the politics of their home one.  Chord's a harpy--a man with bird wings and a tail, though magic and magic-folk are pushed away to the farthest corners of the map. So, what should he do when the one thing he craves is the thing that could get him killed? And what do any of them do when Andreas meets Chord and falls, and when Chord meets Andreas and falls the same way?
