Daku Sanyu, a young man who had lost his parents in the Hiroshima bombing, has been living a difficult life in Tokyo, struggling to make ends meet and being burdened by debts. Despite his reserved nature, he has a kind heart and a solid determination to improve his life. One day, he decides to take a drastic step and ends his life by jumping off a building. However, instead of death, he is transported to a magical world filled with fantastical creatures and lush greenery. He feels a sense of peace and hope, knowing that this new world offers him a chance to start anew and leave his past struggles behind.
