Jake Mill planned to start the new year right by getting in shape. However, while out for a run on New Year’s Day, he suddenly found himself falling from his neighborhood’s sidewalk into an unknown desert. Jake is left stranded alone and confused, convinced he’s going to die forgotten and alone, till suddenly with the rising of the sun he finds himself falling somewhere new entirely. Now, every day, Jake finds himself falling through reality, stuck exploring and surviving in whatever alien world he finds himself in, trapped until the next sunrise. As Jake struggles to survive and find a way home, he ends up intertwined in otherworldly adventures he could only dream of, facing down nightmarish threats he couldn’t imagine possible, and meeting new people, friend and foe alike.
