The issue with being a Necromancer is that people err on the side of distrust with you. People automatically assume you're about three steps from summoning an undead horde at any given moment, and even when you tell them it was "just the one time", funnily enough, no one ever believes you. Five years ago, Isolde was "The Woman Who Nearly Destroyed the World". Now, she's the Inquisition's pet- the very same Inquisition that put an end to her reign as the world's most powerful Necromancer.  She's handling it as well as one can, going from summoning hordes of the undead to solving crimes within the capital city of Cordona. Turns out being a Necromancer can solve deaths much more quickly than the usual methods, so long as there's a body and a willing spirit. Things never go the way they're meant to, however, and a hiccup during an investigation leaves Isolde with a new Commander- a brand new upstart with big dreams, high hopes, and a sunny disposition that clashes quite heavily with the fiery doom, gloom, and occasional tomb that makes up Isolde's entire personality.  When the investigations start getting a little weird and the tales of the dead start getting cryptic, Isolde has to find some kind of middle ground between her and the new Commander, because the manacles controlling her give her no other choice.  WHAT TO EXPECT: 1. Originally I planned to have romance, but I've changed my mind. 2. Lots of dead, undead, and ghosts 3. A balance of humor and death 4. Occasional grim and dark scenarios, some descriptions of gore. I put the Graphic Violence tag because I'm nervous, but it's not a central focus of the story. More like True Crime levels of violence. 5.
