“That which lurks in the shadows is likely more afraid than he who notices it. The same is not true for the shadow itself.” Four teenage boys take part in a joking experiment, becoming trapped in a deadly cycle where they are each periodically transported to the harrowing and ghastly realm of demons, all the while their foolery brings the hunt onto them in the real world too. On the run and switching between worlds, both as hostile and dangerous as the other, they discover that greater threats than they could have possibly imagined.
