Synopsis
Adventurers are often written with unbridled romanticism, many focused on the heroics acts of the few. As such, they ignore the mundane, grizzly, and brutal realities of adventuring
While acts of heroics feats still certainly occurred, but for every story of grand adventurers of monster slaying, there are hundreds more stories of cold nights drinking at taverns and uneventful jobs defending merchant caravans.
The life of an adventurer is filled with tales of disillusionment, hardship, trauma, savagery, survival and death, interlaced with experiences of joy and relief in between. These tales are as important — perhaps even more so — as the stories of heroism that circulates the popular imagination.
Thus, I am here to tell such stories — The hidden sagas of tragic heroes, untold and ignored for their brutal honesty.
