Aiden wakes in a hospital after a freak accident to find he now has silver disks embedded in his palms and the power to transfer heat from one object to another. Popper finds some pills that belonged to her dad and discovers they give her super strength. They each decide to become heroes, but their paths and their rules differ. They meet as adversaries, but learn to work together to figure out what is really going on with the creation of too many heroes and too many villains.
