The Veil, separating this world from all others, has been torn twenty years ago. Many of those who shouldn't be here, made their way to this plane. Through great sacrifices, humanity has repaired the tear and driven back, even destroyed, those who traversed the forbidden boundary of worlds.  Yet, small tears here and there crop up from time to time, and our neighbors from the other side couldn't resist the urge to come visit. There were also many otherworldly beings who escaped the first Purging and those that came after; they live amongst us, some helping us, others doing malicious deeds. It is up to the Guardians of the Veil, a worldwide organization of supernatural hunters, to make sure that our world stays ours.   I am the author of Getting Hard and A Dragon Gnawing Its Tail. I hope you give my other works a try. This is will be a collection of short stories, some will be one chapter stories while others will span a few chapters. It will feature different Guardians going about their work, and even stories from the sides of the visitors from the other side. I think the term is anthology? So don't expect this to be one long story.  This will be my side project and will not be regularly updated since I will be focusing on my other stories. This is an exercise of sorts for me as delve into this genre of pyschological, mystery thriller. If its reception will be good, I plan to make a full-length book about it and not just short stories.
