Set in the year 2100, Jonathan Masters is a government employee for the Agency, an overarching security branch with jurisdiction over the super cities, the last vestiges of what remains of the United States. Jon recieves word from one of his field operatives that they need pulled out quickly, only he's too late. What's left behind for him is a breadcrumb trail that leads him to a terrible truth and a worse fate. What he finds will risk the precarious balance the world has clawed so hard to find. Will he give it that extra push over the edge? Or save it from oblivion? Author's Note:This was just a fun little diversionary piece I wrote a few years ago. Figured I'd do something with it.
