But after planning the story, I decided to focus only on David, and then with time create a different page on Royal Road telling Vivian's story. (It all depends if this story is well received.) David sacrifices himself to protect his family, and his consciousness seamlessly shifts into a newborn in a parallel universe. This alternate world closely resembles our own, but is filled with magic. However, technology is now beginning to dominate and control this once magical planet. By entering the scarlet portal, Vivian is thrust into a demonic realm, where she must endure severe injuries and fight for her survival. Her determination is powered by her intense desire for vengeance. David Han’s ultimate aim is to stay alive and unravel the mystery surrounding the true nature of the scarlet portal.
