In the distant future, the entire universe is ruled by one authority: The Incandestine Empire, which dictates the scientific and technological progress of humanity. As part of their tyrannical machinations, the Incandestine hypocrites created superpowered Chimaeras, hybrids of man and alien, trained to infiltrate and dominate societies. Their own heir, Catherine, is among them.  When Catherine is accidentally killed by her friends during the escape plan she helped hatch, the teens quickly become the most wanted individuals in existence. Running out of options, a mysterious force guides Rolynd and several other friends of the late heir to a magical planet that should not exist, called Apolaphia.  Incandestine forces are not far behind, however, and Empress Lucina arrives four years later to bring justice down upon an innocent world. But, Rolynd has his own plans; to earn the favour of Apolaphia’s deity, the wish-giver ADAM. To do so, he’ll need to use everything – and everyone – at his disposal. After all, he promised Catherine that he’d do whatever it takes to keep the ones he loves safe.  Of course, Rolynd is not the only one troubled by Lucina’s arrival, and he is not the only one who seeks ADAM. The strings of fate pull on people from all across Apolaphia, each seeking their own version of justice.
