We are insignificant in the grand scheme of things. A speck, not even visible in the grand universe. Yet, even the universe supposedly started from a small insignificant point. Sometimes the smallest ripple can create the largest impact.  --- Growing up, Thane was a curious child. The new and interesting kept his attention. Curiosity was not bad per say, but it did kill the cat.  Thane's curiosity tended to involve things he knew better to not to touch, like the attention of a god. Though not necessarily his intention, his curious encounter placed him in the mess of the larger scheme of things. The gods and goddesses did not bless anyone arbitrarily. A price must be paid or a purpose must be played. Thane would learn so.  -- Hello, experimenting with a story concepts and characters.
