Synopsis
Maria’s days were a constant struggle as she worked to put food on the table and get her sister through school. Their parents had died in a tragic accident and had left her and her sister to fend for themselves. Her sister, Rita, often scolded her for always just thinking about her sister, and not prioritizing herself. Maria didn’t mind working, though, as long as her sister could have a good future. But she suddenly finds herself falling into another world where the inhabitants think of her as the goddess. The strange thing was that everyone had a different prophecy about her. She didn’t think she was the goddess they were referring to. But nonetheless, while looking for a way to reunite with her sister, she helped the people of Beulah with the knowledge she had of plants and modern workings. But though she did her best to be of help to the people of the new world, their king seemed particularly cold towards her.
Valas was the new king of Beulah. And growing up, his father had always told him to anticipate the arrival of the goddess, for she was the one who was to bless their land. Just like everyone in the land of Beulah, he also was given a prophecy of the goddess. But unlike his father, he refused to simply accept the prophecy, much less the goddess. But on the day his father died, she came.
