Synopsis
We will rise again.
Earth is lost. But before it fell, we discovered something impossible in the night sky: Helos. A new star, just a few light years away, surrounded by hundreds of inhabitable planets. Stranger still, the planets were already populated by primitive humans.
The Euphrates, a tiny, frail spaceship, is the last vestige of life as we knew it on Earth, and its last hope. It carries a massive database of human knowledge called the Encycle, and the reconstructed DNA of history’s greatest leaders.
Caesar, Khan, Gandhi, Montezuma, Shaka Zulu, Washington, and dozens of others will be cloned and genetically modified to never age. They will be marooned on new worlds with access to the Encycle, and little else.
There, they will begin a ten-thousand-year quest to create their perfect worlds, and perhaps one day return to the stars to discover what happened to our ancestral home--and reveal the mystery behind our new one.
Inspired by empire-building games like Sid Meier's Civilization and Through the Ages.
