Having been born into the ruling family of Maine, Esther Sainz was taught leadership skills from a young age, and was expected to be proficient with weapons. When target practice leads to an accidental murder, Esther is forced to go into ten years of exile, in order to atone for her crimes. In the world outside of Maine, Esther not only faces physical challenges, but also deals with the repercussions of losing her home. In a constant struggle with herself, Esther toes the line between justice and vengeance, and must use the skills she was taught in order to survive in new harsh home.
