Emm got a magic sword and a quest to save the world. But she got them from Twesnyu, who she hates. She wants to give them back, but Twes won't let her.This is a fairly standard light adventure/fantasy story, disguising itself as YA. I'm writing it that way to get better at the elements of writing that YA does a good job at. I'm experimenting with pacing, tone, and character development. I'm working from a couple outlines, but I only plan to write this story when inspiration takes me. So expect this one to go on-and-off hiatus. I'll also try not to, like, swear a bunch.I appreciate feedback, especially when you point to a part of the story and say how it made you feel. For example, it's really useful to read comments like "The part where Emm did [X thing] confused me, because..." Or maybe "The part where Twes went to [Y place] made me smile." Or even "The part where the sword said [Z thing] made me want to get a sword." That's the kind of feedback I'm best at incorporating, but other kinds of feedback are nice too ☺️.
