Lond Mesan is crying all the way down Worker’s Road with a bag full of bones. Everyone Lond had ever loved is in that bag. Or so he thinks that's what happened. After waking up in a burnt home, surrounded by ashes, charred bones and no recollection of the last few days, Lond decides to find out who exactly were the ones who killed his family. And most importantly, why?   On the way, Lond meets a mysterious alchemist from a far away land who has a proposal: to bring Lond's family back from the dead. Skeptical but grieving, he decides to join the alchemist into lands he has never set foot upon. But beyond the safe haven of his home, a shadow looms and darkness stirs beyond the Gates; Gates that are best left unseen and locked with the dead behind them.
