Synopsis
"With enough hard work and dedication, you can achieve anything"
Leon wasn’t sure who exactly told him that quote, but he knew one thing for certain.
They were full of shit!
In the end, the only thing that truly matters is luck. Why work hard, when you can just be born with a silver spoon. Why try your best, when there's no guarantee you’ll ever succeed. Why chase your dreams, when it only takes luck a few seconds to crush them.

Sadly for Leon, he was a victim of that last part. Just another forgotten dreamer, who had their dreams crushed before they ever began.
While growing up, Leon quickly fell in love with the professional boxers his father used to watch on the tv. After that, it didnt take long for him to start dreaming of pursuing that life full of bright lights and cheering crowds. He knew that sitting around dreaming would be pointless, so at the age of 6, he got his parents to take him to get lessons. What started as a child's innocent dream, quickly turned into an addiction that consumed his life.
An addiction to win. An addiction to stand on the highest stage. An addiction to hearing the crowd roaring his name, and most of all an addiction to be the best boxer in the entire world.
At the age of 16, he took the amateur boxing scene by storm, crushing opponent after opponent on what should've been his inevitable rise. That was exactly how things played out for his 2 years taking the stage. With every win, the hype around the young superstar grew, as the world awaited his destined professional debut, only 2 weeks after turning 18.
Sadly the only thing people would receive was disappointment, as just a few days before his debut, a construction site collapse would lead to a tragedy taking countless lives, and a young Leon crippled from the hips down.
After that, time passed as usual, and the once cheering fans quickly moved on to the next exciting entertainment waiting for them. Through this all, no matter how much time passed, there was one person who could never move on.
That was Leon.
Losing his reasoning for living, he fell into depression. Looking anywhere and everywhere for a sense of relief, from the bleak reality that was his life. Eventually this depression led him towards video games, and their worlds that could somehow distract his mind, even if just temporarily.
During this time, there was one game that captured his mind the most. “World of the End” is a simple RPG, where the brave and powerful lead would protect the world from destruction. Despite the simple premise, this game became his solace.
Till one day, after suffering backlash from his injury and painkillers, he would collapse, finally putting an end to his tragic life. At least that’s what should've happened, before he woke up to find he was transported into the very game that used to relieve his sorrow.
