However, she is harshly rejected and turned away. Almost giving up hope, she runs into a mysterious scientist name Professor Lucesco that offers to help her in exchange to help her with her goal. That goal being defeating the Kaibutsu and their creator, Noctis.  Accepting this offer, Rena goes through many trials and challenges to obtain the power of the Awakening Stone to become the next chosen Space Guardian. However in order protect herself and hide her secret identity from her parents, she goes undercover as pop star idol under the name "AURORA." The Professor hires her a manager and helps her debut as she investigate on different planets to try find the truth of what happened to Sunflare and his teammates. But she realizes that being a Space Guardian might be more than she bargains for as she continues her journey as the next Planetary Heroine, Space Guardian Jupiter Stealth.  As she travels to find her brother, she meets more people on her journey and discovers the truth potential that's been within her.
