Rain Ross is a 17 year old girl from Chicago whose only goal is to take care of her younger brother. Balancing her senior year, work, and childcare is difficult, especially when the conflicts of a world you didn't knew existed are thrown on top. Rain finds out that her father she never knew left her with one thing, magic abilities based on her zodiac. Once she is attacked and discovers that she comes from a long line of individuals blessed by the Zodiacs to have certain powers, she finds that her responsibilities pile up while she wants no part in it. How can she take care of her brother when she is forced to leave him behind, only to find out the safe haven she was going to was more dangerous than anything?
