Death is temporary, life is a cycle that repeats again and again. To break the cycle is to break what is older then time itself. To continue from one life to the next with the memories, the burdens and lessons that your previous life had given you is akin to an impossibility.  Yet in the infinite nature of existence. A few cases slip through. A rare few that defy the odds and take advantage a the scant few instances in which once can slip through the cycle of reincarnation with the memories of the previous life still intact.
