The fragmented plane expanded under the merging of the Rifts. Each being had Hunger he had to satisfy to ensure the protection of the limits of its spirit. Enlightened beings could use the Language, the one and only language maintained and protected by the Goddess of Light. If Death didn't exist, the dangers were many, and losing one's life often came at a cost similar to or worse than death.  There were many Thrones, Rulers of the World, each with their own Thronedom which they rule of their own free will. But rumor had it that the position of Throne, never granted again for millennia, was close to being attained once more.  Many talents have emerged in recent centuries, prodigies following the same path as their predecessors. Everywhere, people were already saying that the advent of a new Throne was drawing near. But why were there also whispers of the arrival of a Supreme Being? And what would a Supreme Being be?  As for him, he had woken up in another body, a young murloc hunter on Earth, transported to a strange and mysterious new world. Indifferent and exhausted by a life too long and yet so short, he'll have to make his own way. Will he seek Ascension? Under the hundred or so Concepts, building a Way required making choices.
