Synopsis
Tao Shu anxiously dreaded the day he would replace his father as both the Lord of the Tao sect and the Lord of Huoshan, one of the five continents of Aeruta. However, as he celebrated his fourteenth rotation around the sun, Tao Shu and his father, Tao Zhong, were attacked by invaders from the other four continents in pursuit of Tao Mei's Aeruta Manuals. After Tao Zhong's defeat and an injury that caused Tao Shu to lose his vision, Tao Shu vows to avenge his father. Though he lusts for revenge, Tao Shu cannot see, nor wield blade or magic. The child dedicates his young life to cultivation, eventually learning to navigate the world without his eyes and fight beasts, demons, or anything else that stands between him and the Aeruta Manuals.
He soon sets out, leaving his home nation to defeat the four lords. As he journeys he meets friends, and foes, and finds himself learning about the cultures of the people in these nations. The more he learns about the people of the supposed enemy nations, the more he reflects on whether or not Huoshan, his home nation, is everything his ancestors claimed it to be.
The cover is drawn by me, the author. It's not very good, but I believe the author putting in the effort to make something is better than using AI.
