The dragons have died and the world has been left in an era of uncertainty under new symbols of hope and leadership. The land tears itself apart with great whirlwinds of the elements, a plague of monsters seeking to consume the remaining magic in the world, and the zealotry of the new Warden order offering little in terms of answers for the inevitable apocalypse.  That matters not to the heroes of this story - a man able to conjure fire like the former gods walks the land with a nomad giant from the north, both outsiders detested by the knights that reformed the land after the fall of dragonkind. Hatred from the self proclaimed saviors of humanity is just part of the job for the pair, meaning little in the grand plan to pay for their futures. When a simple job goes horribly wrong for the adventurous duo, Alu and Morrigan must find the answers to who they truly are and how to solve a world falling into ruin faster and faster every day. On the run, sentenced to death for a crime they have no knowledge of, the duo run to the only place their enemies would never dare to tread.
