The Kingdom of Shifters, Unmatched in their connection to the land, and divided into many tribes. The Kingdoms of the Fae, Like Yin and Yang the Summer and Winter Courts dance together. The power forever waxing and waning. The Kingdom of Psionics, The race that remained closest to their human ancestors gifted in the powers of the mind.  Now as the next age draws ever closer it is the new children of this star who must face the next test.Prophecy dictates that when the world of Uraya faces its greatest peril five rulers will be offered the slimmest chance to cast the danger back. The Witches have always tried to live in harmony with the world, none more so then the Frosts a minor noble house who retreated from society more then three generations ago. The youngest son of House Frost, Shann just completed his basic studies and was looking forward to coming back to school and study advanced magic. All his plans come crashing down around him though when the Old Queen dies and the Phoenix identifies Shann as the new sovereign. There's just one itty bitty hiccup. There's, never actually been a Witch King before. Too bad nobody told the phoenix that. Now Shann has to deal with assasination attempts, an evil uncle trying to turn him into a puppet ruler, and noble houses constantly throwing their unwed daughters in his path. All while learning how to rule a nation, and trying not to go to war with the neighboring Shifter Kingdom.
