Synopsis
In an endless labyrinth of corridors, shifting walls, and sentient doors lies the Castle, an entity as alive as its sovereign, the enigmatic Prince. For reasons unknown, Prince controls the emotions and lifeblood of the Castle itself, dictating its form and purpose. But the Castle’s corridors are no longer a sanctuary—they have become a trap, infected by a growing malevolence tied to the sovereign’s own psyche. Prince goes in search of two young explorers, Cesare and Carmen, using his hundreds of infected bodies to find them. As Prince investigates the trespasses of Cesare and Carmen, whose emotions threaten to disrupt his control, he reveals the fragile balance between himself, the Castle, and its inhabitants. But when he begins to uncover the truth of his own existence, the line between victim, ally, and predator blurs. The Castle does not permit permanence, but how much will its ruler sacrifice to hold his mind together?
