Synopsis
What happens when the sun goes down? What happens when the wick burns out or the lamp runs out of oil? Easy. Darkness falls. Since the beginning of time darkness has been at the edge of every conscious thought, mortal and immortal alike; the proverbial end to all that is right and good. But what if darkness wasn't a looming threat? Instead of some gaping maw that we've imagined, what if darkness was a cold, yet sweet embrace; a kindness locked away beneath our feet? What would we do if darkness could never fall? What if the darkness had to rise?
Niavele, a minor god of fate, journeys to free himself from an unknown curse, only to unravel a tightly-knit web of mystery surrounding the truth of the world, his existence, and the very nature of divinity.
