What happens when the brightest heads of a secret lockheed facility based in the DPRK decide to prevent the 3rd world war from happening rather than enabling it?For nearly a century, after a secret and quite lucrative deal was made between lockheed and the DPRK, the best and brightest scientists and engineers were brought to this facility. In a place where there is no oversight, no laws that tell you what you can and cannot do, science and weapons technology has been brought to the limits of our imagination. In exchange for a nuclear deterrent and unimaginable riches, DPRK asked no questions about what was going on in this facility. But with the beginnings of a  3rd world war, the knowledge of what weapons are to be used, the nagging sense of responsibility has moved the most brilliant minds in the world to focus their research, not on ending life, but preserving it. But they lack one thing, time... There is not enough time to save humanity or to find a way for long lasting peace. So they come to the only logical solution available to them. Time travel. If there is no time, we will create time. What followed was the great leap backward, the purge, the discovery of other sentient species and the dark ages. With the cataclysm drawing ever closer, time once again is running out, yet the way to peace still seems as elusive as ever.Author's note:This is a story I've worked on for the past 20 years and this is my 8th attempt at writing this story. Each attempt so far has taught me that my writing skills aren't up to par yet. Hopefully this time the writing will be satisfactory. My 7th attempt is Being Frank.
