When a wandering soul began feeding on the world's evil and resentment, it grew conscious and spread darkness far and wide. The Abyss grew out of control, forcing The One True Being and his subordinate gods to intervene. The resulting battle was long and devastating, with the gods suffering heavy losses. In their final moments, The One True Being, consumed by guilt, infused mortals with blessings to resist the Abyss’s corruption. The gods vanished, leaving the heavens silent for centuries. Surviving gods created Ausra Nevaeh, a new heaven, in an attempt to maintain order. Centuries passed, and the world fell deeper into darkness. Then, suddenly, the Heavenly Palace reappeared, bringing hope and the promise of salvation from the Abyss.
