I must apologize to all you guys. I never intended to let all my work end up and go dormant, but I did. I'm sorry for that, and I wanted to take a moment to explain:
Last year, the doctor told me that I had an aneurysm bulging on the side of the main artery coming out my my heart. When I visited the surgeon, he informed me that the size of the aneurysm was such that it only had a 6% chance of rupturing every year. Of course, if it does rupture, that's a case of almost instant death as it's the main artery right at the heart itself...
I was advised that with my weight (over 300 pounds), the risk of performing "the most dangerous surgery in the world" (the surgeon's exact words), was greater than the risk of the aneurysm rupturing and killing me. He refused to do the surgery...
So, I'd basically been advised, "You have a timebomb at your heart that can explode and kill you at any moment, and there's nothing we can do about it." Needless to say, the worry and depression that caused, basically destroyed any motivation I had to do much of anything -- much less write...

BUT...
We all pass sometime, and time helps one come to terms with anything. Excessive boredom while doing nothing is a great motivator too, so I eventually decided to sit back down and write again to help pass the time as I struggle to lose weight so I can have the surgery (the surgeon said he'd want me to drop to below 200 pounds), or I simply meet my expiration date.
I've completely lost track of my old stories, and since I'm wanting to write now, without having to catch back up to where I was previously, I decided to start and share a new work, which you can find here, if you're interested: Two Times Perfect
Best of wishes, and I've got to admit, it's nice to know that I still have some fans around who might remember my work.
