Synopsis
This is what the end of the world looks like, from someone who lived through it.
Veydann wasn't happy with his life, exactly; his father was always badgering him to come down from the mountain and do "princely things," whatever that meant, he had been widowed twice over, and his people were constantly fighting wars that they seemed to think it was a good idea to drag him into at the drop of a hat. But at least he understood it.
Then every enemy Noldur had ever had decided to assault them...simultaneously.
That alone wasn't really all that daunting. They'd fought them all before, and the Great Seals kept the worst of them from being much more than an annoyance.
Then somehow, Lokigan Faeron managed to shatter the Seals, and he got sucked into an alternate dimension, populated almost solely with creatures that wanted to kill him on sight.
This might turn out to be a bad few days, he figured. It was definitely going to be interesting...
To those who are wondering, the story is loosely based on Norse mythology and Ragnarok (especially in the names), but it focuses mostly on some of the "minor" characters who actually lived through it.
