A disgraced samurai (Gintaro) and his teenage daughter (Yukiana) are separated by the machinations of his former enemies. While Gintaro must pick up the sword he abandoned to try and save his daughter, Yukiana must ally herself with a mysterious shapeshifting kami to stay alive. Can Gintaro fight hard enough to save his daughter, or will she be the one to save him?
