This biological extinction is an improvement over the last, but it remains incredibly cruel. Despite repeated deletions, each era's catastrophe always leaves behind the elites.
"But tens of millions of years have passed, and yet there's no sign of civilization's birth," Rico remarked dubiously. "Is it too early to be born? Maybe something akin to the former earth overlords, the dinosaurs is needed to increase the pressure."
In reality, every catastrophe presents Rico with an opportunity to act as the world's creator. However, aiding once doesn't mean continuous support. It's best to let things unfold naturally for now.
"I provide opportunities at most; I won't handhold them all the way. After all, I'm the god of creation, not their nanny. I still need this leverage!" Rico affirmed.
Following the second biological extinction, Rico accelerated once more, and the earth gradually settled. Survivors cautiously emerged, occupying previous ecological niches, evolving progressively better. Soon, they were on the verge of conquering the skies!
The third-generation creatures didn't blindly pursue size; instead, they focused on speed, strength, and adaptability to complex environments. Rico even discovered a creature with a diamond-hard horn, akin to a pangolin, a feat almost impossible on Earth but feasible in an aura-rich world. Rico named this creature: Golden Armor Beast.
With just a hint of aura, such a magical creature could evolve. Rico eagerly anticipated an extraordinary world abundant in aura. However, higher world levels would consume more original points—something he has in abundance but not needed in this part of his plan. Otherwise, he could effortlessly create thousands of gods and demons beings with a wave of his hand, in this lower dimensional world
The central tree once again rose from the ashes, marking its second rebirth. If it were to sprout from the branches of reality on earth, it would be its third rebirth.
Rico marveled at its resilience, surpassing limits time and time again, improving with each iteration. He dubbed this post-volcanic era: the ancient period.
This time, marine competition grew fiercer. The second generation of marine overlords, slender and 30 meters tall, surpassed the last generation in attack power. With 2-meter-long teeth and explosive bite force, they easily outmatched their predecessors. Rico named them: Behemoth.
Despite the central tree's increasing verdancy and vitality, its reign was short-lived. According to Rico, this 2-million-year period was a prosperous era.
However, influenced by star projections, the sun gradually waned, causing temperatures to plummet. Eventually, the oceans froze, claiming 90% of marine life. Even the second-generation overlords succumbed.

The ice that swept from the four-pole ocean coalesced across the world. The central tree, the longest resistant creature, toiled within 3,000-meter-thick ice, stretching 5,000 meters to absorb more sunlight.
Alas, despite its valiant efforts, the central tree succumbed, signaling the earth's demise. New records emerged in the Enoch: at the end of the ancient times, temperatures plummeted, and a 3,000-meter-thick ice sheet blanketed the world. The once-vibrant world turned white and silent, with only the smallest creatures surviving in the deepest depths of the ocean.
99% of the creatures on the continent had gone extinct, leaving only cells encased in ice. Perhaps some creatures still survived beneath the ice.
The doomsday world underwent a transformation, as if donning a thick white coat. It not only gained considerable weight but also gleamed brilliantly white!
The Ice Age persisted for millions of years. During this time, creatures perished continuously in the depths of the ocean. Eventually, Rico couldn't bear it, yet refrained from intervening. In the direst circumstances, only 10,000 creatures remained in the deep sea!
Yet, it was these 10,000 creatures that evolved an exceptionally cold-resistant structure, capable of surviving temperatures as low as minus 50 degrees!
Enoch recorded: In the Doomsday calendar, during the Ice Ancients era, the world plunged into a deep slumber, with only the remaining creatures in the deep sea evolving into highly cold-resistant bodies.
Boom! A massive glacier melted and collapsed, revealing a frigid river beneath. Formed by melted ice and water from the continent's depths, it created an unimaginable environment where creatures could survive. Amidst this, a young man in short sleeves strode across the snow, unfazed by the melting glacier.
"The glacier is beginning to melt. I wonder if there are other creatures beneath it that can be resurrected," Rico pondered, gazing at the thousands of meters thick glacier beneath his feet.
Having witnessed multiple extinctions, Rico remained calmer, less moved than before. As the saying goes, the sword's edge is sharpened through grinding, and the fragrance of plum blossoms arises from bitter cold.
Isn't this disaster the essence of an era?
"This is the center of the world," Rico declared, ascending an ice peak towering higher than others—a once-mighty king resided here! Now, it too melted slowly.
"This little guy has started absorbing ice water, preparing to come back to life," Rico chuckled. The central tree's resilience, enduring death and resurrection, amazed Rico, the god of creation.
"It's hard to imagine those tiny branches surviving for tens of millions of years. Perhaps, after repeated disasters, it truly has the potential to evolve into a World Tree."
"Perhaps the greatest reward of this world may be it."
The World Tree represents the pinnacle of plant evolution. Any plant could evolve into a World Tree, albeit at an exorbitant cost in points for creation and cultivation.
The central tree endured thunderstorms, fires, and ice calamities, emerging stronger after each catastrophe. Like the newborn tree, unafraid of thunder, fire, or ice, yet still far from achieving World Tree status. The Long March was just the beginning!
Continuing his exploration of the Doomsday world, Rico left footprints in the snow.
"Haha, who would've thought this little guy would survive?" Near the coastline, Rico chuckled, observing a creature tucked within its shell, surviving for centuries.
Though frozen in ice, Rico sensed a flicker of vitality within the deepest recesses of its shell. This creature, the Ancestral Shell Beast, persisted through the ages, evolving into a formidable entity despite the extinction of overlords.
"It seems survival doesn't favor the strongest, but the most adaptable," Rico sighed.
In Earth's Cretaceous era, a meteorite strike led to the extinction of the dominant dinosaurs. Yet, weak mammals endured, eventually evolving into formidable primates, dominating the world!
"Scrub."
Rico glanced at his feet, puzzled by a four-leafed worm he accidentally stepped on. Would it become a fossil in thousands of years? Pondering the future intelligent races' fossil excavations, Rico returned to reality.
Little did he anticipate that this single action would spark future disputes, leading to a catastrophic era.
