Synopsis

Now Uploading Volume I: The Things We Fear   Minerva Gray has long since grown accustomed to the vicious rumors surrounding her family. Whispers, half-truths, accusations of nepotism, and even outright lies have plagued her entire career in the Space Corps, and all of it is made even worse when her grandfather – the cold, calculating trillionaire who personally founded the organization – announces his retirement and selects her to be his successor. That’s when the threats begin – anonymous letters demanding her resignation.  Some blame these intimidating messages on her family’s numerous rivals, but Minerva knows better. She’s been quietly investigating a series of unexplained spacecraft disappearances, one of which involved her cousin. The closer she gets to answers, the stranger it seems to be, and her search has led her dangerously close to the insular group of mega-corporations supplying their agency. She knows that someone doesn’t want her digging any deeper, and the Space Corps’ Intelligence department seems unwilling to help at best and outright hostile at worst.  Left with few other options, Minerva is forced to seek help in the unlikeliest of places, and her search leads to a prisoner who knows entirely too much. The espionage case that led to his arrest might just hold the answers she's looking for – if she can convince him to talk. But she's not sure who else might be listening.   Uploading will resume in January 2025. Updated 2X per week.
