The United Duchies of Amorica are one of stagnated political strife. The twelve dukes argue and scheme against each other. The elected king tries to maintain the peace but is slowly losing grip of the situation. In the far south lies the duchy of Caledon. A poor duchy, however, isolated from mainland squabbles that flourishes through their own ways. The young son Adler De Caledon wishes he would never leave his island home. However, that would prove pointless. Political strife had begun to show cracks in the foundation. His father Arturo De Caledon heads off to the capital for the noble assembly that required the attendants of the twelve dukes. It is a time of reform. Adler must find his place in this world.
