The Durge follows the Raven Knight, a shadowy figure who wanders a cursed world consumed by The Darkness. Clad in black armor and wielding a greatsword of dark metal, he is a creature forged from the very evil he seeks to destroy. Without memory of who he once was, the Raven Knight hunts the darkness that has corrupted everything, knowing that his mission will lead to his own end. In the decaying lands of the Circle of Law, he battles twisted monsters born of shadow. When he encounters a monstrous creature, he slays them with cold efficiency. The desperate pleas, by those lost in the dark, for hope, for knowledge of the fabled lightlands, are met only with silence. To the Raven Knight, redemption is meaningless. Driven by a relentless purpose, he walks a path that promises neither light nor salvation. Each victory against the darkness brings him closer to oblivion, yet he presses on—one step deeper into the shadows, towards a fate he cannot escape.
