Volume 1 Synopsis: 'Kinsoriel, one of the oldest dragons across all of Gairemeer, was the target of many. This wasn’t of any issue to him though, he relished it in fact. Dealing out death to so-called heroes was almost a hobby for him. That ended today however. This time, his enemies had a hidden weapon on their side, one that would force this scaled menace to become the thing he hated most; a man. Now in the body of a man, the dragon must make a life changing journey to regain his true form, seeing the world through a new pair of eyes.' That was how it was supposed to happen. In an inexplicable event, the dragon avoided what was written out for him, instead bringing the Author of this world with him. If that wasn't bad enough, the book that gave him the power to do anything in this setting went missing at the same time. Figuring out how this happened can come later. At the moment, Benjamin- the Author in question- needs to get his book back to put things the way they should be. But to do that, he'll need to get on his human loathing main character's good side. Can they put aside their differences long enough to get what they both want? Or will they destroy one another? Volume 2 Synopsis: Having suffered numerous setbacks in their journey, Kinsoriel and Benjamin found out that they were going to be stuck with each other far longer than either expected. Though rocky at first, their time together has improved their relationship significantly. That being said, nothing could have prepared them for what happened after their encounter with Stromwell. The gods have returned. This development strains their bond when Kinsoriel's god chooses him to be his champion. Given purpose once again, the dragon prioritizes matters that will ultimately be meaningless should Stromwell win the bet. Can Benjamin get Kinsoriel through his character arc and win back the book? Or will the divine interruption give their foes enough time to strike a fatal blow?
