Synopsis
Cilidia is a world ruled by the rich and privileged. Justice can be bought and sold openly, and life means little if you don't have the cash to add value to it. Among the twisted and broken institutions is the Douglass Group, the security monopoly which has come to replace both the police and the military. The heir apparent to the company, Mervin Douglass, is not an easy-going young man. He drinks like a fish, he thinks the worst of everybody, and it seems to most like he knows a little something extra about almost everyone. When Mervin's good-for-nothing younger brother is put into the cross-hairs of an angry city, Mervin and his team of investigators are forced to step in. What they find may shake the very fabric of the world they know.
