For two years Astrid has been banished by her mother to an institution for supposedly burning down part of their village. Her magic locked and frozen by an iron bracelet making it impossible for her to leave so she stays complacent. Until she gets a vision from her twin brother, Arkane, which sends her spiraling into the woods to find him. She must connect back with the power she has forcibly tucked away as the dark creatures of the wood stand between her and Arkane.
