Every century, a brutal war erupts between humans and demons, waged in a desperate cycle of bloodshed and survival. The last war ended with another human victory, leaving the Abyss weak and fractured. As the demonic realm begins to fade from existence, its rulers devise one final, desperate gambit: they send forth a powerful entity, forged in the deepest reaches of their domain, to tip the scales in their favor. But something goes wrong. The entity emerges into the human world without memory of its origin, believing itself to be human.
