It's been 4000 years since then... it's time I wake up... the world needs me, I must wake up...
----------------------------------------
"Alright class! Today we will be doing your Magic Aptitude assessment. Please line up in a neat line and come up to the mirror to measure your aptitude."
1205. 2183. 2038. 1743.
"Alice Gaelburg."
"Mhmmm, please step up to the mirror."
Error. Error. Error.
The mirror reflected multiple zeroes as the screen began scrolling downwards by itself, generating an infinite number of zeroes. Unable to measure Alice's magical aptitude, the mirror cracked and without any warning, exploded into multiple pieces leaving the class in disbelief.
Just as I thought. I'm ready.
----------------------------------------
"My sincerest apologies Principal Alistar. Hurry up Alice, apologise for breaking the mirror!"
Digging her right ear with her pinky, Alice reluctantly apologised only to have her mum push down on her head, forcing her to bow.
"It's no big deal, Mrs. Gaelburg. Age must have caught up to that mirror, it was bound to break one day anyways. That being said, Alice Gaelburg, the mirror did react in quite a bizzare way when measuring your aptitude. Could you perhaps allow me to personally measure your magic?"
I can't let my identity be revealed just yet, perhaps I should can it down. Wouldn't want angels to be sent after me in this state.
"Of course, go ahead. The mirror must have been faulty cause I'm pretty sure my magic aptitude is nowhere near the thousands to begin with."
Placing his hand over Alice, Alistar chanted the words "Magic Capture". In an instant, a magic circle appeared over Alice's forehead, rotating clockwise before displaying her magic aptitude.
"Sorry to disappoint Principal, but like I said this was merely an accident."
"It would appear so, the mirror was indeed faulty. Well, your official number stands at 999. Just work a little bit harder and you will hit a thousand! That's all I have for you today, thank you once again for coming down Mrs. Gaelburg."
----------------------------------------
On the way home, Mrs. Gaelburg repeatly nagged at Alice for being rude towards her superiors annoyed with her stuck-up and stubborn attitude.
"Shut up old lady."
Opening the door home, Alice made her way to her room, slamming the door shut as Mrs. Gaelburg angrily stormed to her own room.
"Stupid old lady. Well this is all just temporary, I'll erase her memories once I'm gone. Honestly this is so troublesome..."
----------------------------------------
[Back at the academy]
"You felt it didn't you sir?"
"Albeit a little, there is certainly High Demon magic within the girl. Morgana, could I trouble you to do a quick check on the Gaelburg household. I want to know their ancestral lineage, I want to know everything about them."
"Should I contact the angels?"
"No, leave them out. If we do in fact have a High Demon student in this academy, she will be a useful assets to my future goal. Bring her to me first, if anyone gets it your way, you have my permission to kill."
"Understood."
----------------------------------------
"Alice! Dinner's ready!"
Setting up the plates, Mrs. Gaelburg began filling up the plates with food she had prepared while Alice made her way towards the kitchen, grabbing a can of soda as she whiffed the aroma of the food into her nostrils.
"I smell... BARBEQUE CHICKEN WITH BAKED POTATOES?"
Alice dashed over to the dining table, standing over the whole chicken at the centre of it with saliva drooling down her mouth.

"YOU'RE THE BEST OLD LADY!"
"Tsk, I'm not even that old. This was meant to be a surprise today to cheer you up for not hitting 1k on your assessment. But you gone and broke the mirror. Anyways eat up, you're still in your growing phase."
Cutting the chicken, Mrs. Gaelburg placed a piece of thigh and drumstick onto Alice's plate along with a baked potato.
Eh, growing?
Staring at her mother's breasts before looking down at her own. Jealousy filled her as Alice stuffed the drumstick into her mouth, angrily ripping out the flesh, devouring it in an instant.
"Bet you were smaller than me at this age!"
"Is that a challenge dear? Hmmm hmmm."
Prepared for her daughter's remarks, Mrs. Gaelburg whipped out an old picture she had kept in the cabinet beside the table. She placed it onto the table with a smirk across her face.
"Witness your mother in her teens. You see those? Boys would eye them for days, violate me with those looks. Your mum was a beauty back in the day, a rose amongst the thorns. Ohohohoho."
Huge. As a woman, she sure has me beat... if only I learnt physical mutation spells...
*knock* *knock*
"I'll get it Alice. Eat your food before it gets cold."
Grabbing the thigh piece next, Alice wolfed down the chicken, happily savouring the delicious taste of her mother's cooking when suddenly she felt something off.
This feeling... Dark Magic... Old lady!
*Baaaammmm*
The house door came flying across the room, crashing into the cabinet as Alice turned over to the entrance of her home. Mrs. Gaelburg had managed to narrowly evade the door, suffering only a cut on her arm before raising her hand at Alice.
"Stay back Alice! Use the backdoor! Hurry!"
Standing at the open entrance of their home was a human donned in black cloak. Her eyes glistened white under the moonlight with her long raven black hair covering her neck. Revealing two daggers from her back, the lady spotted Alice before dashing towards her at breakneck speed.
She's fast! Damn it, this body is still physically weak...
Before her feet could react, the lady was already in front of Alice as she raised her daggers up into the air. At that split second, Mrs. Gaelburg appeared behind the lady, seemingly matching her speed as she wrapped her arms around the lady, preventing her from advancing before pulling her back sending the two crashing onto the floor.
"Old lady!"
"Run Alice! Don't just stand there!"
Damn it! I can't let my powers be revealed now! But the old lady...
Turning her back on her mother, Alice made a beeline for the backdoor exit, managing to escape out the back before heading towards the nearby Magic Police building.
Come on, it's just two blocks away...
"Stop. Take another step and your mother dies girl."
Obeying the lady's orders, Alice came to a halt, turning around to see her mother being tugged along the concrete pavement by her hair. Her clothes had been ripped and visible cuts were all over her arms and legs as she appeared lifeless at the mercy of the lady.
"Who...who are you? What do you want with me?"
"There's no need to be afraid. Your mother isn't dead, I just need you to be a good girl and follow me back to the Academy where we will have a little chat with the Principal."
Unable to contain her rage, Alice raised her hand towards the woman ready to incinerate her with hellfire. However, the woman held Mrs. Gaelburg in front of her, forcing Alice to seize her attack.
"Let go...Alice...run...Mum will hold this bitch back for you..."
Before she could finish her sentence, the lady immediately sent a knee towards Mrs. Gaelburg's back, slamming her face into the pavement, silencing her momentarily as the pain overwhelmed her senses, rendering her unable to even scream.
"Let go of her. I'll go... please..."
Tossing a pair of anti-magic cuffs at Alice, the lady instructed her to put it onto her wrists as Alice obediently followed.
These cuffs can't hold me back. Once she releases the old lady, I'm gonna fucking kill her!
"Good girl."
Upon being released, Mrs. Gaelburg turned around with zero hesitation, sending a strong right uppercut into the lady's stomach.
"RUN! ALICE!"
No old lady you idiot!
"Bitch!"
The sound of metal ripping flesh pierced the air followed by a loud thud.
The pavement turned red with blood as the lady kicked Mrs. Gaelburg's body aside.
"Fucking bitch! Girl come with me now or I'll kill you along with..."
Enveloping the lady in a gigantic pillar of flames, her skin began to form giant bubbles, bursting one after the other as she screamed in agony. Before long, not even ashes remained as the lady was incinerated without a trace.
"Old lady!"
Running over to her mother, Alice fell onto her knees, resting her mother's head onto her lap.
"Don't die on me old lady..."
"Alice...I didn't know you were this strong...heck if I did, I would have just let you kill her...Sorry...I'm just a stubborn mother..."
"And I'm your stubborn daughter...don't die...come on..."
Using what little strength she had left, Mrs. Gaelburg placed her hand onto Alice's cheek, wiping away the tears that were travelling down her face.
"Alice...be strong ok? Mum can't be there for you anymore...I really hoped I could see you grow older, just a bit longer. To see which unlucky guy would fall for you...to see you graduate... Sorry, Mum can't be there anymore... Stay strong Alice... I love..."
Feeling her mother's hand falling over, Alice grabbed onto it, placing it on her cheek as she held on tightly to her mother's hand unable to control her emotions and tears anymore.
Stupid... All of this is stupid... You're not even my real mother old lady... I made you live a life of lies... I really am the devil... God damn it... Why am I crying, I'm the fucking demon lord... for fuck's sake...
Looking up into the night sky, Alice was certain tonight's event marked the beginning of a long journey. Her unleashing those hellfire had alerted many above and around of her powers.
Whoever did this, whoever sent that assassin... I will find you... All of you... You will pay with your lifes!
