David, a college student, faces the usual challenges of young adulthood until his life takes a surreal turn on his twentieth birthday.  He discovers mysterious horns growing on his head, and as he grapples with his transformation, he notices profound changes in the world around him.  Three moons adorn the sky, and David's physical changes intensify each passing day.  Alongside his friend Charles, David embarks on a journey to find his friends and his mom, and will be questioning the importance of humanity in a world that seems increasingly unfamiliar.  As David's appearance continues to evolve, he confronts existential questions about his identity and the nature of his existence.  Ultimately, he ponders whether humanity is truly essential in a world undergoing such profound transformation.
