Dawn was dying. Honestly it was no surprise. Taken from her home 15 years ago, she found herself in a new reality. That was fine, though, because this world had magic. Sure that came with monsters from another (non)dimension, but that's small potatoes when it means Magical Girls are real! Apparently, magic is something Dawn had always been super good at too, the job fit her like a glove! In 15 years, she became the best of the best, but circumstances meant that she ended up just a little over her head. With her dying Wish, all she really wanted was to make sure her family learned what happened to her. Really, if that's all she wanted, she should have worded it better. This story is inspired by Stray Cat Strut, by RavensDagger; Magical Girl Gunslinger, by Mikasane; and Tinea and Leah, by Eleeyah. The elements of "System + buy things with points you earn", will be similar, but twisted a bit for my world. The main character will not be using the system very much, though its existence will be consistent throughout the story. Magical Girls (and calling them Magical Girls/Guardians) is a shared theme, along with an Alien Race (Familiars) that grant them the System. I'm borrowing some system functions, but the laws of magic in general will be different.This work could be considered to be in the same Multiverse (or maybe even a step further? The Anathema/Antithesis are a threat Everywhere), as Stray Cat Strut, Magical Girl Gunslinger, and Tinea and Leah, but you don't need to read them first (but you should read them anyways.) The majority of the story will take place on my own version of Earth, following the first appearance of Antithesis. There will be no corpo-hell, but that doesn't mean companies won't do evil. This is my first story. I'm going to try to write well and not fall into endless draft mode.
