Participant in the Writathon! When a 10 year old girl is kidnapped in the rural county of Melspol, a disgraced detective recently transferred from the big city must use his skills as a missing person’s investigator to save her. Recently reassigned DI Senel must navigate the unfamiliar waters of small town crime as he and his partner young Investigator Oak go up against the clock in a case that seems to have no motives and no leads. Struggling to pull together an investigation with minimal resources and unlikely allies, will the detectives be able to save the girl from an uncertain fate even as they uncover a much darker world of depravity operating in their quaint town?
