Long ago, the world witnessed the birth of the Goddess of Light and the Daemon of Darkness.
In perfect harmony, they shaped the world: creating landscapes of land, mountains, rivers, and oceans. Together, they painted the sky with alternating shades of night and day. The sun's radiance brought forth new life, while the moon provided respite for animals that roamed the land.
For a time, the Goddess and the Daemon worked side by side, molding their creations into an idyllic paradise.
However, everything changed with the arrival of a new presence:
Humans.
The Goddess and the Daemon were intrigued by these vulnerable beings. Unlike themselves, Humans require constant care and attention.
Moved by compassion, the Goddess embraced the Humans, sheltering them beneath her protective wings. She rewarded their good deeds with divine blessings, empowering them with extraordinary abilities. As time passed, their connection with the Goddess deepened, and they ascended to become Apostles.
But the Daemon of Darkness harbored resentment towards these Humans.

He despised how they marred the world he had fashioned and devised a plan for their downfall. Seizing an opportune moment when the Goddess was distracted, he cast a curse upon them.
Anger. Bloodlust. Jealousy. Greed.
The curse took hold, and humanity turned against itself, descending into a state of chaos. Looting, killing, stealing, and waging war became their way of life. Enraged, the Goddess of Light confronted the Daemon of Darkness, and their epic clash raged on for a millennium.
Their battles rent the earth asunder, spewing forth molten magma from the depths of the oceans, and casting the sky into a fiery crimson hue. The Humans, unable to endure this transformed world, began to wither and perish.
Yet, the Goddess ultimately triumphed. In the year that surpassed the thousandth, she banished the Daemon to the Abyss, sealing him away for eternity.
She then reclaimed her Humans, creating a realm amidst the chaos known as the Kingdom of Eura.
However, despite her efforts, the Curse still afflicted humanity. Left with no alternative, the Goddess of Light passed judgment upon her subjects.
Follow the righteous path, and bask in the rewards of Light. Embrace Darkness, and suffer the consequences befitting your Curse.
And so, the Goddess vanished, leaving humanity to embrace its own will.
From that point forward, Humans adhered to the Goddess's decree. But over time, the power of her Blessings dwindled, and only the most loyal were awarded. Most humans could no longer harness the Goddess’s power through acts of good, turning back into the people they once were.
Yet all who disregarded her warning faced a dreadful fate. For if they followed the evil path, they would be punished by the Goddess’s Judgment, turning into monstrosities of their former selves.

A fair exchange is where retribution mirrors wrongdoing. Judgment is not a punishment but rather a consequence.
Choose wisely.
