Synopsis
This is the tale of the sorcerer Pestilence Marr. Cursed to unleash a deadly miasma whenever he succumbs to strong emotions, Pestilence lives as a recluse in his castle, with only spiders, mice, and crows for company. One day, however, Princess Eleanor arrives at his door, and everything changes. For the first time, Pestilence begins to explore his emotions-starting with love. But their idyll is short-lived. Eleanor must return to her duties as a princess, leaving Pestilence alone once more. Unable to accept her absence, the sorcerer embarks on a journey to find her. What he doesn't foresee is that his quest will lead him to confront an emotion he never expected: hatred. Only by experiencing true hatred, it turns out, can Pestilence break the curse that has bound him for so long. On his journey, Pestilence faces numerous adversaries, unforeseen challenges, and, most importantly, the turmoil of his own inner world-all while the curse looms, ever-threatening.
