Dominated by half a country worth of deadly, boundless tundra, the people who live there find themselves resoulute and determined to thrive, even with an ancient curse that blankets the land with shadowy creatures that attack each night. Irbishar Halrun, one of the two people to ever survive an encounter with the Night Creatures, is now living a cozy life as the head scholar to the King of The Everfrost.
