Becoming undead wasn’t on Adrians bucket list.  However, the amateur paranormal hunter bites off more than he can chew and is forced to become a Pire variant. When the United States Paranormal Regulation Berea (USPRB) kills his Sire, Adrian quickly becomes a part of the organization and is put in Delta Squad, being trained to deal with everything from Magick-using burglars to cultists trying to bring around the end of the world.  Adrian must learn how to control his appetites and powers while also dealing with his high-stress job and the many, many dangers that come with it. When a USPRB agent near Silver Mesa, Utah, suddenly stops contact, Adrian and the rest of Delta Squad are sent off to investigate. Their journey will involve everything from haunted motels to boardwalks controlled by a coven of insane mages. However, the most dangerous encounter is in Silver Mesa itself.  The inhabitants hate outsiders even more than each other. Delta Squad is set in an alternate universe where Magick and Supes meet government bureaucracy and law enforcement.
