Synopsis
Aboard Hades Station, families spend generations labouring in service to the Apollo Corporation. Those without money have only one path to freedom; glory as a gladiator in the arena.
Axel Murray, an orphan who nobody expected to achieve anything with his life, stands on the brink of earning his freedom. All he needs to do is win one last fight, and his debt will be forgiven. He’ll be free to compete in the more lucrative matches of the Galactic Tour and earn enough to buy the freedom of his girlfriend, Rose—the only person who ever believed in him.
But in his moment of triumph, Rose gives him some devastating news. She’s pregnant. Unwilling to leave his family behind, Axel takes action to ensure that when he leaves Hades Station, they’ll be going with him. But the decisions he takes to keep his family together may end up tearing them apart and condemning them to a lifetime of miserable servitude.
